Bathroom Remodel Creates a Spa-Like Retreat

Our clients were looking to update the aesthetic of their newly purchased mid-century home. In this master bathroom we maximized the space available to create a sanctuary that was both personalized and spacious despite a limited footprint. We accomplished this while honoring the aesthetic of the age in which the home was built. Note the walnut graining, and the use of dark materials to accent the lighter tiles. The small, custom-glazed tiles harken back to a prior era that enjoys a resurgence of interest. Notice the subtle tile and drywall transitions, and the understated way to provide an open inviting feel to a small room of limited square feet.

This Craftsman-style bathroom radiates warmth and charm, showcasing natural materials, expert craftsmanship, and functional beauty. The elegant pedestal sinks are both practical and visually appealing, while the large freestanding tub offers comfort and a stylish spot for soaking. Classic white subway tiles on the walls lend a timeless, clean look to the space.
