Summary
As Director of Operations, I carry several hats. Human resources, accounts payable and accounts receivable, overall budgeting and financial analysis, asset management, governance compliance, office management, IT oversight, sales, and lead generation, contract reviews, cost tracking, overall financial review with clients as needed, support our team and the craft they are so good at, sawyer and milling operations oversight, and the global vision implementation.
Experience
Years of farm building projects, drafting and CAD drawing classes, and shop work all led me to attend ISU for Architecture; I enjoyed those studies but ended up getting my major in Hospitality Management and spent 26 years in a variety of operations management and sales roles between hotels and restaurants. Along the way, I would be working on side jobs from basement finish work to decks and pergolas, smaller sheds to large garages, and woodworking projects. I am blessed to have joined such an amazing group of true crafters that take pride in all that they do.

My wife Heather and I enjoy spending time outdoors at our acreage, and I get to plan and build all the projects that come with that. I have a garage and barn that I’m still working on, as well as raising cattle (14 head) and running/working on a hay production business of large round bales. My wife Heather and I enjoy our time on the acreage, wood fires in the shop in the winter, a garden, and chickens running around in the summer. I also enjoy playing pool, milling at home, and welding when time allows.
